[The fist she's clenched at her side is shaking now. She glares at the Other Father, then puts a hand on the sword at her side.]

[His brow furrows, his expressions daunting more on angry than anything. His hair appears to move for a split second, little vines curling in his hair, his skin taking a slightly orange tone.]

Shoutin's not nice; 'specially at your parents. I'd apologize.

[There are vines all quite ready to raise from the floor and attack on his whim; don't think he's defenseless, Alicia.]

[Your mask is slipping, Other Father. But then, hers is, too. For one brief moment, the blonde-haired woman in fatigues is gone. There's a grey-skinned gremlin in her place, scarred and cut in a million places. But then she lets go of the sword and the camouflage shifts back into place.]

[It's not an apology. But at least the open hostility has been taken down a notch or two.]

[Oh, hello... Now that he didn't know about her. His smirk slips back into place, his hair shifting back, the colour fading again. Everything's fine now.]

[Now that 'Driel's remembered that it's not polite to stare, she's blushing and looking down at the ground. After a few seconds she glances back up to study his button eyes again.]

Nope! See? [then taps the side of his buttons twice.]

[She sounds genuinely relieved at that. It'd be awful to have eyes that hurt all the time; she knows what that's like, even if her's only hurt when she goes out in daylight.]

[She's amused. Annoyed, but still amused. Truly incredible what the gift of "free will" does.]

My my my... [Her fingers tap against her arm.] This is a change dear.

[Funnily enough, he was just thinking the same thing. It takes him a moment before he admits a little audible, interested 'oh' sound; he knows who you are; you're the one who made the other Other Father- the weaker one.

As a demonstration of his power, he changes with a grin; skin darkening into a slight orange, vines shifting in his hair, face extending and melting a little out of place, but nothing that would be a problem for him. He's a little more weighty, but his magic doesn't exactly work in the same way as yours, Beldam; he doesn't need to chase.

He leaves her to tap, going to place his own hand 'lovingly' on her shoulder.]
