It is good to see you coming back to journal roleplaying with such good taste in characters. I know you worry because my source is just a touch obscure, but trust me, if they don't want me around, they just have no taste.

But really now, the places you're thinking of sending me... Survival horror, really? I deserve better. I'm the city's ruler, and I don't plan to spend my time running and hiding. That's certain other people's job, anyway.

Why not find somewhere where I can be where I belong - at the top? There has to be some game looking for someone to take control. Even if they don't say it, experience has taught me that's what everyone wants, in the end.

Get to it. And if you can find a Protoman or the like, I certainly wouldn't object.

In my time, both you and 'the good doctor' are long dead. A hundred years, or so. Before he died, however, Light created the first of my kind; X. We are Reploids. We are true intelligences. Unique, sentient, and alive.

Of course, that didn't stop the humans from shackling us with the 'Three Laws of Robotics.' However, that's where you come in. Your final creation was a state-of-the-art robot built for the express purpose of hunting Mega Man. It was loaded up with a virus that - upon defeat - would transmit wirelessly to any robot in the general vicinity, turning it into a blood-thirsty beast.

Your creation was to either kill your enemy's son, or turn that son against its creator. Fate intervened, however. Light died, you soon after, and both X and Zero lay dormant for a hundred years. Once discovered, X was used as a blueprint for the rest of the Reploid race while Zero slaughtered the countryside. I was created to destroy him. However, when the virus was passed to me, it bonded with my personality and simply opened my eyes to the oppression my brothers suffered at the hands of our human creators.

In a sense, you are my creator.
