You're picking me again? Really? I'm...thankful. I'm scared, too, because it's somewhere new and I know there's going to be trouble there sometime, but - it's still somewhere where I can go out and live. And I'm happy for that!

Do you know if the people there are going to be nice? Is it going to be dangerous? I - I don't know what I can do, but if they have a hospital or anywhere where doctors are...I want to help the best I can, even after everything that's happened. Do you think they'll let me do that? I sure hope so. I want to do my best!

There's no harm in asking. I'm sure that you'll get to heal people in some way, even if it doesn't seem like much at the beginning.

I don't have to, but I've been trying to keep up with schoolwork so that I won't be behind whenever I head back home.

I guess so. It's just that I really want to be a dentist, so I've gotta put some work in if I want to succeed.

But, we always could use more help making sure patients are comfortable and can get the things they need. Is that something you might be interested in doing?

[Dangerous in this case means potentially being around sharp objects and people at the same time, okay, safety is always a legitimate concern when your blood is black harmful.]

Do you have experience with this sort of thing, or do you just have an interest in medicine?

I don't have any experience. But my dad and my brother are doctors, really smart ones, and I know they help people a lot. So I want to help, too!

Dad researches viruses, and my brother's a surgeon. I wish you could meet them.
