I would be careful of challenging, Faramir, Son of Denethor. You would be surprised the magic these places bear, as well as those we reside with.

Our memories are precious to us all. That is why so many wish to take them.

This is true. Yet some are more important than others, are they not? I know, were I forced to lose some of mine, some I would give more willingly than others. And unless I misinterpret, it sounds as if you must lose some regardless?

I must suffer a loss to enter the castle, but it does not have to be a memory. It can be something else dear to me.

None of the memories my mundane has suggested are ones I am willing to sacrifice.

A haunted home. Not necessarily anything I would fear, under a normal circumstance, but what little I know of it I do not find reassuring.

These are not ordinary circumstances. They may not be ordinary ghosts.

They do not appear to be. As well, the runner of the location knows far too much of me.

The game requires Fears to be listed. It was in fact the runner who shot out several of them before my mun finished her canon review...

Why are so many of these games rooted in our suffering?

[A small laugh, even if it isn't entirely amusing, Legolas seems to find it so to an extent]

Which reason do you wish? I could give you quite some few that would explain why Man acts they way they do, and some of them would hold true only to some and not to others!
