All right, so here's the thing I really can't figure out.

What do you want with me?

I mean, I don't like having my strings pulled by anyone but compared to my other boss I'm going to call it a step up, and if going to one of these game things would mean I don't actually have to work for said boss at all while I'm there...

Yeah, let's just say I wouldn't mind.

But the problem here is that I don't think that's what's going to happen, because I've been looking around and it doesn't seem like you have the time for that.

So what am I doing here?

[ He's not supposed to talk about his job. Seeing as how this random stranger seems to know about it anyway it might be safe, but he's not risking it. ]

How else do you think we sort out souls?

Only sorting I've ever been aware of is deciding whether a soul goes to Heaven or Hell.

[ Which is an admission of sorts but seeing as how this guy seems to actually know stuff it should be okay. Right? ]

That's because you're not a god.

There are two levels of sorting.

One which soul goes to which god depending on their beliefs. As you are not one of my people's worshipers I am not allowed, or at least, it's bad manners for me, to take your soul after you die.

The second level, which is the one you're familiar with, is that of judgment. Who goes to heaven or hell or the land of pigs.
