Trying, apparently futility, to convince yourself of what was not? So, perhaps, we were not such a terrible match in the end.

No, there's no sense in arguing. I've no desire to sit here sorting out the details. Should you find a place suitable to our collective purposes, then we shall talk further.

In the meantime, we shall continue on with our current diversions, yes? I must admit, they are not unwelcome. Consider that your sole indication of gratitude.

People finding out that they are or are not accidentally related, everyone sleeping around, and long lost siblings popping up outta nowhere.

That does not sound like us at all. I do not understand mortals' preoccupation with such dramatic things.
