It's okay, there are all sorts of interesting folk to mingle with here, maybe one of them wants to get to know you a little better. Give a chance to those of us not imprisoned in your head.

Not so much for me... I lost River not long after I arrived, and I am the only person from our world here. It is terribly lonely.

What do you mean you lost River?

I mean that she was here when I arrived, but a few weeks later she returned home.

Just not any close lady friends I hope. [ She means that, but the loneliness Simon feels can't be fixed with any number of friends or ill timed humor. ]

Truth be told, it... has taken me a bit to get over River not being here. Caring for her took up so much of my time, I haven't make too many friends yet, though I am working on it.
