You finally did it I see. You wrote an app for me and submitted it. Here I thought you had forgotten about me and I was going to be put in a box. And no, that isn't a Schrodinger's cat joke. Stop making them, it's stupid.

I really do hope you stick through it. The last time you put me somewhere it was a dark dank castle. Sure, I had some friends but besides them it sucked. And now they're gone and I'm alone again. Don't do that again. I won't stick around if you keep doing that to me.

And of course you still haven't found Sakuya. You promised you would. Guess you're just a liar, mundane. I won't listen to any more promises.

I wonder if you even did a good enough job on the app to get me accepted. You probably half-assed it, knowing you. Whatever. Guess we'll see.

[He feels a little strange with this bigger version of himself but it's familiar too. His tail slowly sways behind him.]

[Mia's tail is also swaying, though it's a steady sway, and she's clearly interested.]

[He takes it and looks it over. He turns and gently pokes the wall with it then looks back to Mia.]

It's just grass? What's so special about it?

[He looks at it again and sniffs it. He turns it over in his paw and takes in how it looks. He holds up his other hand and in a flash of purple, his black twig appears.]

I guess so. It's kinda like my twig, I guess.

[She reaches down and takes the twig to inspect it. There's no innate, unreachable memory, no faceless nostalgia...]

[Hermit gets a bit shaky without the twig and his eyes widen. He doesn't give Mia much time before he holds out his hand for the twig back.]
