I don't want to go.
What reason have you to send me there but to meet with Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn? Not a single one, I've seen the thoughts you have regarding this. You only wish to get me into trouble and go on from there! And Lord Elrond will be joining those there as well! And all know me as a grown elf beyond a thousand years of age.
I'd much prefer to remain in Mirkwood with ada. Although I know you won't honor my request.
