You can't be serious. Not only do you not have a plan, I'm pretty sure you don't have the clearance. Wait, why are you queuing up our first missions, again? Fine. Fine. I'm obviously not going to change your mind.

(Or in my mun's case they... actually watch my grand entrance for the first time. She fell off the wagon for a while and then clambered back on with a vengeance.)

(Pretty sure mine could be said to have done the same. Netflix is apparently her new favorite thing. She owes me icons. Good ones.)

Mine is still trying to figure out what she wants to AU and how she wants to do it. She's... not digging some of the current season plot, or how the last one wrapped up. (And that's not even getting into the HG Wells conundrum.)
Tell her to do the work with the show on in the background. Compromise!

I'm not making any promises to her, just so she knows. I'm not sure I can do that in good faith. I'm not really sure where she's taking me from, anyway.

Or where she's taking you to, which could be just as important. I wouldn't do well with the 'lolz you can never go home again' settings - good news is, neither does my mun, aside from the fact that she only has time and brainpan for the one game. And even though it's an interdimensional space, it's one I can leave when I want.
Usually.

Mine's...well, generally a one game type, but she's trying out the multiple game thing. I have the distinct feeling I'm going to be the voice of reason in this particular head space. It's kind of a mess.

Anyway. You're good at bringing the Earth logic - it's just a question of whether she'll listen to it. Or anyone else up there, really. I think the voice of reason in these parts is... actually Rebecca.

[There's a face she didn't think she was going to see again. And it's a face that make her pull herself together a little more.]
I never said I was giving up. There's just...more important battles to be won.
no subject
Oh? Battles, such as?

Although I have heard that time can do exactly that, where these mundanes of ours are concerned.
no subject
I suppose it can. I just...she's not caught up on our latest missions as the last two are difficult to find. While she could take me from-- [Her expression falls for a moment and she shakes her head.] What's the last thing you remember?
no subject
The scent of apples, [she says when she looks up again. The smile was still there.]
no subject
I.
[She swallows, her smile small and a little wobbly.]
Artie says there's a way to restore the Warehouse, maybe...maybe you. I can't and I won't give up, not on that. [Because Myka misses H.G. and it doesn't take a mindreader to see that much and accepting her death isn't something that'll come with anything but a fight.]
no subject
She doesn't want Myka to go through what she went through, with her time machine. To have all that hope violently ripped away. Helena tucks the locket back into her shirt, and offers that bright smile that always looks real, but tends to hide something else.]
Well, I can't say I wouldn't like that. The warehouse's affection is all well and good, but I'd much rather put up with Pete's scent on a regular basis.

[Translation: pls don't do something stupid okay. :c]

That would be a yes, H.G., a very large yes.I don't think you can miss something too much. You either do or you don't.[Translation? Does it count if you're thinking about it?]

Same old Bering.

Yeah. Same old me. [Seeing H.G. was definitely one of those things Myka hadn't counted on, but it draws a smile.]
