Maybe you'll get lucky and sitting around sighing over how hopeless it is will affect the cosmic universe or something. Personally, I would have hacked into the systems of the world and gotten my hands on some nice blackmail that could conveniently convince politicians to drop the more harmful aspects of the bills, at least... I mean, if I was still a criminal.
