There are far fewer experiments, about once a month at best. Even then, they seem more like random events or occurrences. The tower was nearly destroyed thanks to a space whale of sorts.

To sum up, it was a large demonic creature of sorts or somethign, and inside, it carried many other various creatures with it, some native to the tower. Also managed to destroy many of the floors of the tower and hurt a lot of people.

Lucy...vanished during that time. [Yeah, sad tone is very easy to spot there.]
