[Have a metallic, lion like, robot that is slightly larger than a full grown jungle cat sniffing around and following what he thinks is a very interesting smell.

He spots Paige and trots over, appearing very interested in her.

That smell was coming from her, and his mun seemed quite excited to see her.

That was good... right?]

Whoa whoa whoa! What are you? [She is taking a step back and holding her hands out in front of her defensively.] Erm...good kitty? I don't have anything to eat, I promise.

[Steeljaw stops, tilts his head a bit and then flops himself down on the ground and tries to look pathetic. He didn't want to scare anyone... he just wanted to make a friend and see where the interesting new smell was coming from.

From his spot laying on the floor, he tries something silly to try and calm her down. He puts his head down and one metal paw over his optics and then peeks out from behind it, looking quite shy.

When one couldn't speak in human languages, things became quite difficult for him.]

[Who wouldn't fall for that? Paige blinks and kneels down, starting to smile.]

Aw, you're just a big cutie, aren't you? [She laughs softly and pets over his head.] I guess you can't talk, huh? I wonder if you're some kind of robot.

[If so, how can he be so adorable? Unless he's programmed to be this way.]

I really hope you're not luring me into a trap, little guy.

He is... and a suck up when he's not working.

[Oh he likes that petting and pulls his paw away from his face to butt his head up against her hand a bit.

Steeljaw vents a small huffing snort of air at her second question and shakes his head in a 'no' manner. Things would be so much easier if he could talk to humans, he just didn't have the voice box for it.

Her third question got a nod, but it wasn't like he could explain anything... Since encountering humans for the first time, he was finding that being unable to speak aloud was quite a problem.

At her statement about luring her into a trap, he let out a disgusted sounding huff and turned his back to her. He felt very insulted. Autobots did not harm humans.

He was also slightly affronted about being called little, since at his shoulder he came to above her waist and likely outweighed her by more than several hundred pounds... but that was minor. The trap comment was by far the most insulting.]
