[Genda nods, looking rather like he's trying to shake off a headache.] Yeah... it's got vampires and werewolves and stuff like that, and... I don't know. It's just really difficult to watch for all the wrong reasons! Does that make any sense?

[On closer inspection, it's only facepaint... but it still looks really cool, right?!]

[Genda looks a bit confused at first, but grins, chuckling quietly. You're a good guy, Subaru!]

It's painful, but compared to other things... it's nothing this guy can't handle.

[The goalkeep then extends a scratchy, gloved hand to Subaru, grin broadening.] My name's Genda, by the way. I don't think I've seen you around here before.

That's...good, then.

[He glances down at Genda's hand, before extending his hand in turn. If Genda is the observant type he might see an interesting scar in the shape of an inverted pentagram on the back of his hand.] It's...nice to meet you, Genda. [He manages a slight smile.] My name is Subaru. Sumeragi Subaru. [His head dips slightly in a perfunctory bow.]

[Though his handshake is strong and firm, the goalkeeper's eyes widen a bit before he mimics the bowing-- he'd been gone from school too long, clearly, and was regrettably forgetting the manners they thought they'd trained into him.]

...The same to you, Subaru-san. Heh...

[He's quite interested in that scar, not that he'll say anything-- he knows that's probably a rude thing to do, but as fifteen-year-olds are prone to do he can't help staring just a little.]
