Have you given any thought into the fact that it may be less dithering and more savoring? Enjoying? There's something to be said for taking one's time, after all.

Of course they could also be stretching it out so they could enjoy it for a longer span of time than they would if they watched it all in one go.

Perhaps it's best if you let them take their time. There's a lot of history to see, and they do require sleep. My Mun wore herself out the last six years of it continuously from beginning to end in less then a week.
