[Usagi's expression is a mixture of fear, and sadness. Her hands are clasped at her chest, as if to pray, or beg, and her eyes are red and puffy.] Why won't you listen? I can't save Mamo-chan if I'm not back home. I've got to stay.

Please. [It's clear she's grasping for straws, trying to reason with the unreasonable.] After I save Mamo-chan, I'll... I'll go wherever you want me to, just not right now!

Usagi-chan! No matter where you are, he'll be with you - and so will we.

They have him, though! [Usagi can't appreciate Ami's words when all she feels is panic. She had thought she was getting better, that everything would be all right, but being pulled from home before she saved Mamo-chan... it was too much.]

Calm down. [Her face is sympathetic, immediately; but her voice is firm. She has to help Usagi hold it together.]

We'll figure this out, together. Who has him?

[Usagi makes an effort, taking in a deep, shuddering breath. She didn't want to put any more pressure on Ami-chan, or the others, at least not if she didn't have to. When she finally answers, it comes out in a hushed, hurried tone.] The Dark Kingdom.

[That's... a couple years ago now, for Ami, and her eyes widen in surprise.

Focus. She's had enough experience here to understand that these alternate and parallel timelines exist. Right now, what Usagi needs is help and support, not more confusion. Ami nods.]

Then we'll find Mamoru-san and bring him back, before your mun can place you somewhere else. [The serious face changes to a fond smile as she looks directly at Usagi.] You'll have us all with you.

[Usagi listens intently, calming down noticeably. Her faith in finding him alive had been wavering, and the added stress of possibly leaving her own world was almost devastating, but Ami's words were reassuring.

She returns the smile almost immediately, though far more half-hearted than she would have liked it to be. How could she have let herself be so blinded? Usagi knew it would happen again, but as long as she had her friends around...] You're right, Ami-chan. Thank you.

[A part of Ami wants to say absolutely everything, in the hope that it could prevent more suffering. But meddling with what is now, to her, the past...

It's the same as the Black Moon. She changes the subject slightly instead.]

Usagi-chan, where will you be going?

A city beneath the sea. [It would have sounded like a romantic world if not for the time she was being taken.] I think it's called Rapture.

Rapture? [A word meaning either a very strong feeling of delight... or being taken away from everyone else. She has the disturbing feeling it relates more to the second.]

Still, a world under the sea sounds incredible. I wonder how they've made it possible.

Who's Mamo-chan?

[She seems hesitant initially, and almost dodges the question entirely. There was no reason to drag others into her mess, but... there was no harm in answering.] He's... [Their relationship wasn't defined, not really, but she loved him more than life itself.] the man I love.

I see. Everything will work out eventually. I know how it feels to be in love with someone.

I just found him, and now I might lose him. [And it hurt. It hurt so bad she felt as if she were blinded, as if nothing else mattered.]

Don't give up. I almost lost my love but I confronted him about an issue. You'll get him back..

But how can I get him back if I'm not there?

I don't know. I'm not from your world. You'll figure something out.

No time will pass while you're gone. It must be horrible to have to leave in that kind of situation regardless.

[That causes her to stop, and she flounders for just a moment.] How... How can you be so sure? [It doesn't make the situation any better, but that's better news than any.]

That's what my mun has seen.

I hope it's true. [Usagi pauses] Thank you for telling me. I... I still don't want to go, but... [If she has no other choice, at least she has the knowledge that he won't die while she's gone.]

You're welcome. Many here don't want to go, but it tends to be unavoidable. I doubt you'll stay there forever.

Usagi? What's wrong with Mamo-chan?

[Wow, it's like Lloyd and Collete--ow, tiny pang of jealousy thinking about it, but negligible. She's alright with it! But seeing someone else, and younger than even them...]

Hey, don't panic so much. [manshe'sbadatthis] Time kind of freezes in canon when we're taken "out" of them. And sometimes we're canon "updated" to later points, and things progress as if we'd never left.

Mamo-chan in danger? [She doesn't understand, what was wrong?]
