Great.
It's not like I have other things to do, right? Important things.
[Sighs.]
Why did you bring me here, anyway? We both know this is a bad idea.

I really need to watch Teen wolf more :|
You won't regret it for sure! There's lack of it around, isn't there?
Eeh.. Unless I decide to become a pirate. arrrr! xD
Do you usually snort like a boar? Or is this something you practice?
I... guess that works, too? xD;;;
Okay, give him an awkward moment of silence while he debates if he should even dignify you with an answer.
Eventually, he decides against a 'I can do much better, want to find out?' and swallows his pride instead because a) why waste more time, b) why scare her to death? and c) why spread the news about 'monsters' on this place, too?
He doesn't quite know where he is exactly yet, after all.
So, instead, have a raised eyebrow, lady, and the fakest yet best of smiles he can possibly muster.]
... You could say I was born with it.
Aye, matey!
His response was odd and the sudden smile, was something she didn't expect.]
So, does that mean you cannot help yourself? You just, snort compulsively?
no subject
Take it from him. She probably has no idea what she would be getting into. Not that he will show her, because, again, he won't.
The question has him silent for a while again (his head starting to hurt) but, well, there doesn't seem to be much else to do around here, after all. Might try to make time pass faster, at least.]
No-- It tends to happen more often at brilliant ideas. Or at the sharing of priceless information. [Or when Stiles is around. Ah, sarcasm: Not his only weapon. But good enough of one.]

Like 'mind your own business' things.
What are you doing here, anyway?
no subject
no subject
I own my time. And you're wasting it.
[But there's a deep breath. Okay, lets try this again. He needs some answers, after all.]
Besides, who knows what's out there, right? Are you here alone?
no subject
[She crosses her arms and watches him start over.]
Yes. I'm alone.
no subject
He knows she isn't lying, at least, he can't sense Jackson anywhere around. Or Peter. Or Scott. Or anyone from his pack, really.
Which means he is stuck here, wherever here is, with quite possibly one of the last people he would like to be stuck anywhere with. Not the worst, but.]
Any idea where your friends are?
no subject
no subject
... Not that he knows her all that well, in all honesty. Funny how that works, considering everything that happened. You'd think they would have shared a longer talk or two by now.
Another time. After all, she can't exactly be blamed for what happened.]
Any idea where we are?
no subject
Hello? Does it look like I would know? I'm talking to you even though you are a total creeper.
And that was before your uncle took over my mind and made me help him come back from the dead.
no subject
... You should probably redefine your idea of 'creepy'. [But lets not dwell on that. Instead, he is crossing his arms in front of his chest, looking around. He wonders, briefly, if he wouldn't be better off alone than with her, but well, who knows, she might end up being useful, if they are to get out of here.]
Do you remember how you ended up here?
no subject
Do you not remember asking someone why they brought you here? Because that's how I ended up here. People who think my mind is theirs for the taking. Which is kind of awful.
[She levels a stare at him.]
And wrong.
no subject
[And his frown deepens. Well, calm down, lady, he is trying to make sure the circumstances are the same so he can try and figure out a way to negotiate getting back.
Though if you keep on being so impossible to talk to, he might consider leaving you behind. I mean, seriously, she needs him far more than he needs her, in fact, give him three good reasons why--
Oh. Oh, okay, that's it, have a stare of his own. Not friendly. Not that his stares ever are, mind.]
-- Don't give me that look, it wasn't my fault. I'm trying to find us a way back and being kind enough to include you in that in spite of everything that happened. [Okay, again, he knows it wasn't her fault either, and maybe that is why he is even considering bringing her along, but it still doesn't invalidate the fact that controlled or not controlled, he too was dragged around and offered against his will, as well, to bring back someone that he still isn't sure how to feel about.
... Happening an awful lot lately, isn't it? People using him to bite or be bitten against his will.]
So either collaborate with me here, or I'm leaving you on your own in the middle of wherever this place is. Get it?
no subject
[Still umimpressed.]
Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible for you to leave me.
no subject
And deadpan look.]
You are confusing me with someone else. I'm not Mr. I Got Way Too Many Hormones Running Through My Body over-- Wherever the Hell he is. I have no reason to be here with you besides trying to be nice.
And getting tired of it.
So. [Tries to turn around. ... And doesn't move an inch.]
...
[Tries again.
... Nope. Not moving.
What the--...?]
no subject
Who are you talking about?
no subject
no subject
[Okay, that's--... That's relief right there. He's not going to admit it, but.]
You are here, too? [Redundant question is redundant, but hey, just. Making sure. Yeah.
As for the comment, he gets a small snort for it, head shaking.] Yeah, from you lot, probably. Everything alright?
no subject
If by alright you mean I'm not getting stabbed, then yeah, I'm pretty okay. What about you, though?
no subject
And Isaac stayed. He will try to teach him everything he can in whatever time they have left. Two is not a pack, but without knowing if Erica and Boyd are returning-- Two is the best they got. And Scott, if he wants to come along.
... Maybe Peter, too, they will have to see about that.
Anyway, some other time, he might have been mad. Right now, he is just relieved to see you here-- wherever 'here' is.]
I'm fine. [A nod.] Heard anything about any of the others?
no subject
See, he's learning control. And there's still a large misdirected part of him that wants to please you and make you proud, but that's a topic for another day. ]
No. Not from Erica or Boyd, not really, though I hear they're okay.
You think they might come back?
no subject
He might have started all of this as a way to get a pack as quickly as possible in order to face what was to come, he might have thought it would be a lot more easier than what it actually is, he might have failed as the Alpha he thought he could be, too-- The Alpha he wanted (and still wants) to be.
But as you just said, in a way, he is a work in progress, too. And he intends to do better now, he intends to be a better teacher, a better everything. And besides... When he picked you to get under his wing, when he offered you the bite, he didn't just invite you to be part of his pack, he invited you to be part of his family.
And that speaks volumes, doesn't it? Coming from Derek.
You stayed. You stayed even when he failed. Guess that speaks volumes, too.]
I see. ... At least that, I guess. [The last question though, takes him a while to answer, as he seems to take a deep breath, hand clenching into a fist beside his body as his eyes pointedly avoid Isaac's own, looking at the floor instead.] I don't know.
no subject
There are people he can trust again, Isaac thinks. People he can trust to have his back, people who'd prefer he didn't get hurt. That's something worth staying for. ]
Do you want them to come back? [ He asks, because while Isaac is okay with either outcome, he's not pack leader. ]
no subject
Sometimes, he wondered why he was letting him stay around. He wasn't trustworthy but, then again, who did Derek trust, these days? An eye for an eye. And hopefully, one day, he would be able to form his own family, his own pack. He would be able to trust again, to know someone had his back, again.
One day.
For now, things aren't looking exactly promising. Still, again, Isaac is here. And he doesn't want him to get hurt, indeed. He never did, that was why his training was so brutish and blunt-- It was all about survival. But maybe he should have approached it slightly differently. He'd fix it, best he could.
The question takes him a while to answer, once again. And, once again, he avoids the beta's eyes.]
They are the ones who have to want to return. We are stronger as a pack-- But we can't work as one if they don't want to be here. It's their choice, from now on.
