My dear mun,

I am not accustomed to having my plans interrupted.  Being forgotten for six months has been a most unpardonable interruption. 

As for where you choose to send me next I do have some demands.  There must be something for me to work on.  I cannot abide idleness.  The presence of my dear Emerson would be much appreciated.  His shirts will get into a terrible state if I am not there.  You know this to be true.  

And there must be pyramids.  I simply insist on this.

My trip to Egypt was rather...distracted by other affairs, but I should hope to return someday to better appreciate the sights.

This is one I can agree on, for what it is worth. I am sure there will be a great many things to quarrel about between now and then, however.

Truly. So many women are such downtrodden helpless things, with barely a spark of individuality and determination,, who know nothing but obeying their husbands. How often I have pitied women who have become slaves to the expectations of our society!

With this I must agree. One does try to edify them of course. But far too often such efforts fall on deaf ears.

The problem is that far too few people in the world have any kind of sense. I have certainly never met anyone as sensible as I am.

I do thank you for the kind sentiment. Although I fear that it may be unlikely. I doubt any of these muns are capable of taking on such a man as my Emerson, the greatest Egyptologist of this or any other age.

I've read most of her books at least three times. Some of my absolute favorites

I'd suggest the place I'm at. It's a library so maybe that would make it a little less disappointing. There's these gates that open up to different worlds. One of them might have them there.

My mundane's told me about your Emerson. I can see why he'd intimidate most people. Think I'd like to meet him, though.

Well, a library is certainly an improvement over some of these options. I will certainly insist that my dear mun investigates it. She may protest, but I hope that I count perseverance among my virtues.

He does have rather the habit of intimidating other people. He takes such delight in it.

the_library is being remodeled right now. My mundane and her friend just took it over so there isn't much going on right now, but they're hoping to get things running again soon. Her goal's to have it start getting more active by the end of the month

Like guilt, nervousness is a useless emotion. There is no profit in worrying about such things. One must simply charge ahead.
