Well, it has been a few months. I think it’s safe to declare ‘voicetesting’ over. And yeah, you should get some more people in here. Not that I’m not thrilled about being your go-to option right now, but… let’s just say it’s getting a little too quiet.

Sometimes. But I like a certain amount of activity to blend in with. Too much quiet makes me feel... conspicuous.

I can understand feel - eel - ing. Too much quiet is... unnerving. And, paradoxically, I have found it is more difficult to "blend in" to a less dangerous environment.

You can't project a background to blend in to? Though I guess that doesn't work so well with these people as it does with everyone else.

I think I know what you mean. When there's danger most people are either focused on that or panicking. Less likely to worry about who you are and what you're doing.

Exactly. Pretending to be a houseplant doesn't work so well on... someone who knows you're there. That, and more people mean more distractions.

But it's nothing compared to your years of experience trying to emulate them, is it? I should not complain so much.

Yes. Most of what I can tell humans is made up, after all. Even online it's not safe. Although it's a lot safer for us than for you.

But it's interesting to hear another perspective on it. I thought you might find it easier than we did. Humans don't think much like Pemalites.
