[ She tries to hide her wince because yeah, it's true. And in the grand scope of bad decisions, it turned out pretty awful. Maybe she should've stayed like Isaac had, but it's a little late for that now. ]

Well, punches is the wrong analogy for typists. It's like you're being rolled down a hill in a barrel. You really can't avoid anything. You're going to roll whether you want to or not.

Twiddling your thumbs or humming a melody seem like popular options. And if you came into this expecting them to have a plan, you're out of luck. I swear most of these muns have the attention span of Scott. [And he means this with the utmost affection, of course.] And I'm not talking about one of his good days where he can actually string a coherent thought together that doesn't have to do with Allison.

It always helps to be prepared, but sometimes even the best laid plans can go awry, and things don't always turn out the way you want them to.

Few things ever do, it's one of those what-can-you-do things, right? Still would be nice to have a clue on what to expect though, if not what to actually do.
