Well actually there would be a point if you were actually from that second adventure, I just gave that warning about meeting people that may recognize you as just an added piece of information.

As for other people caring about idiots, it was just a point that I know what people are like when they love someone who is an idiot.

People talk to people they don't care about all the time. It's called "close quarters" and being acquainted. Especially since he's the Chosen and I'm the emissary from Tethe'alla to Sylvarant for peace, not to mention next chief of Mizuho, it's kind of a political thing. Politics are full of people who don't care about the people they talk to, unfortunately.

And if I don't keep him out of trouble, it'll be a problem for me. He's too stupid to do it himself.

That's not really how the Chosen system works.

I know they aren't. You're underestimating the system we were trapped under, as well as the time needed to shift away from the trappings. The Chosen system isn't in use, but it's what people are used to, and they're still clinging to it since they don't know exactly what's going on. Also, you can't change a governing system overnight. It'll take years to fully transition out of it, and until then, we need to make the most of what we can utilize to make that as easy as possible.
