My Lady Mundane,
We have been here before, have we not?
[there's a faint smirk] And yet, you persist. Well, there is merit in that I suppose. Though if we're really going about this again, I suggest you hold yourself with a little bit more decorum about it.
I don't care what my privateers do, getting drunk and posting with me is not appreciated. I deserve a little more dignity then that.

Excuse me?

You're actually her, right? Queen Elizabeth I? Elizabeth Tudor?
[Staaaaring right on back.]
I saw the portraits when I went to the Tower of London on a school trip.

Unless you are talking of my grandmother, Elizabeth of York. But if not, then yes, I am Elizabeth Tudor, daughter of Henry Tudor and Anne Boleyn, Queen of England, Ireland and France.
[You know, you're lucky she's used to commoners staring at her, though they usually have the decency to bow.]
... Yes, the Tower. I don't know why my portraits would be there, it's just a fortress after all. [and she's made a point to never return to that place, ever.]

Current throne-sitter is Queen Elizabeth II. Elizabeth Windsor.
[A pause.]
And the Tower of London is a Visitor's Centre now.

'Windsor'. [putting that to memory.]
Why would anyone want to visit such a place? [she almost shudders from that. It's awful, and it always will be awful to her. Because she spent so long waiting to die there.] Outside of... war and some other uses, it is not a pleasant place at all.

Plus, it's the most secure place to store the Crown Jewels. Who'd want to try and break into one of the most secure Prisons in British history?

[pause]
And someone who wanted to die, clearly.

Why on earth would you do that?
[some people were far too dangerous to live as far as she was concerned.]

I see. I suppose it would ensure some measure of safety I suppose.
