Homeless, but just for the moment.
Are you certain about this?
The manner in which muns think is truly fascinating. I would love you dissect you in order to figure out how each and every connection is made.
It's truly a shame that I can't.

I was told that this would happen, but seeing is truly believing. It's been a long time since I've seen you as such.
But to answer your question, I am planning on finding a residence. Or rather, the one who writes me will lead me to a new place ... with interesting corpses and mysteries to answer.

One of these "games"? It sounds as though you'll fit right in, although I'm sure the bee hive will miss you. What do you think about it?

It'd be nicer if people visited me more. 'Course, I'm hoping it would be for dissections.
I don't have many thoughts about it as of yet. Too soon to being forming hypothesizes without already being present in the area. I can begin some speculations, but none of them are particularly positive.

[ Gently evading the question, of course.
He smiles at that, just a bit. The World had been a long time ago. Miss Amaterasu as well. And the Doctor even longer still. It was nice to come back for a bit, just to see Thunderland.
There's an idle wonder if anyone else visited the good doctor in his lab, while he's been away. ]
Do you know what it will be like? This new residence. Perhaps there will be a real sun, for instance.

[ He hums once at the thought of seeing a real sun. ]
A real sun... those things are supposed to be quite volatile.

But really, I'd much rather see if there is any deterioration in those brains.

But that's something that I'll never have the pleasure of doing...

[Calmly and smoothly, brushing neatly past mention of dissection and never batting an eye.]
You are [ah, well, she's] considering someplace?
no subject
[ Hm, ah, yes. ]
And, indeed, I am.
1/2
Mm. [It's a little absent. There's something a little softer, a little quieter—almost sad but not quite—about his eyes at that.
But well.]
2/2
It is good that you have a plan at least.

... what did I say about complimenting me?
[ After a moment of silence, he clears his throat. ]
Anyway, it seems like something is weighing heavily on your mind.

It's just his way.
He does pause for a second, though, before replying. Er. Does it look so obviously so? Perhaps. (Oddly it's something he's often asked about. Usually while looking at him with concern. Aha...)
But considering. He also knows better than to protest it.
Ah.] There are a great many sights to be found in such a place, Doctor. It is hard to describe them even, and so many people from places with still greater things. Things more beautiful than you can imagine.
[A sun, in Gauche's own case. The most blinding, real, alive sort of sun. To make one see the moon more to see home—and that sort of ache that's there.
He's not a man of science, but Gauche Suede is used to knowing the lay of everything. So it is something to make one feel small at first, too.
So, gently but not with or without a sadness (a homesickness):] It's a thing that's far from home.
[That heavy thoughtfulness or not, he doesn't seem particularly perturbed by it.
There's still that smile.]

[ He holds his chin for a moment. Ah, that would be quite interesting. His curiosity and drive is starting to be fiddled with. Still, it seems like Gauche has seen a lot -- different than being Noir, it seems.
It really is odd to talk to the young man once more, and know what it is that he knows. There's little point in warning him since he does not know what had caused him to lose his heart. Could it really have been the artificial sun? Is that what took his own memories and eye? That is what he had heard, and yet --
Evidence is needed, and there's no time to start looking into it. Not with what is approaching. Focus on that then everything else will have to come later. Unfortunate, really, when he thinks about it. His scientific curiosity to be put on the literal backburner ... the idea of meeting Gauche years earlier is interesting, too. ]
Still, it seems like it should be a time for enjoyment to be had one way or another.
