Not exactly. But without my glasses, things that are farther away appear blurry to me.

Like when your eyes are wet? Things look blurry then, too.

I suppose so. It's similar, but it doesn't go away. My eyeglasses help focus my vision.

Do you like wearing glasses, Hubert?

It's not as though I have much choice, but I guess that's fair to say. [ It certainly helps hide 90% of his blushes. ]
