A home in
captio; looking for castmates
You have found a home for me. It is a bit strange that I should need a home after being a home to so many, but such is the way of things.
This flesh is so weak and frail, I do hope you have plans to protect me. After all, I will need to be reminded of who I am and the abilities I possess. The flesh causes me to forget, even for a little while, the essence of who I am. And yet, I am not used to the flesh. I do believe it requires more maintenance than my box-form. Things do not come as easily to me. I have to do things like eat and breathe. However, that does give me a greater appreciation for my Doctor and my passengers.
Speaking of, I have a request.
I know my Captain will be there, but what about my Doctor? Any of him will do, of course. Or any of my other passengers, though you know which ones I would prefer, even if I do not rank them myself.
I know ultimately you have no power or control over such things, but if you would, please try.
Sincerely,
Your Dearest TARDIS.

I- I had no idea TTCs could have a flesh body. Or is that the place making you?
no subject
That is because you never bothered to find out... I create myself.
[Which is true from a certain point of view.]
no subject
That's amazing! I mean, everyone knows you're alive and sentient, but this is a whole different level.
no subject
Do they? As I recall, most Time Lords only see us as tools, a trick for their trade.
[Koschei is young - no spoilers - she stops herself from saying that only the Doctor was different.]
now with the correct acronym.
They should. Know, I mean, after all, everyone can hear you sing. I've never been in a TTC myself, but Theta said so.
[no comment on the tool thing, because it doesn't bear thinking about: They treat everyone and everything that way. Childeren are not people, but Time Lords to be, everything in the universe has its time and place. Like parts of a clockwork.]
no subject
Theta would... Though I do not like being called a TTC...
[No, she does not. She prefers her chosen name or her proper name.]

I am well aware of who you are and who you become. You may call me TARDIS. Or as my pilot likes to call me in the form: Cridhe.
no subject
Cridhe, then. So you know Theta, too.
...he's not your pilot later, is he? [Koschei knows he's not as airheaded as he can seem sometimes.]
no subject
[In other words, she knows all in a way Time Lords only dream about. And she is not going to tell you.]
no subject
That makes sense, I guess. Do you still know when you're in that place though? It doesn't limit you?
no subject
It doesn't appear to. I am only limited by the form that I take.

[She thinks it is quite normal.]
no subject
[Well, none he isn't taking for granted.]
no subject
There's nothing mentioned... But I do believe my mun will limit me out of courtesy to the other characters.

[But then she sometimes forgets how to breathe, or eat.]
