New muse, new problems.
Well, this is a switch. I've been in your head making all sorts of passing comments and now you finally decide that it's time to create my journal. I must hand it to myself that my persistence has at last paid off.
However, there is one tiny little detail. [His demeanor switches from slightly cordial to snide in a flash.] I don't appreciate being called a brat. That's NOT who I am. I'm very well aware that I'm not well liked, but then again, name one ambitious man that is.
[Sou pauses, folds his arms over his chest and taps his foot.]
No? Ha! I thought so. Oh, I do prefer that you keep my heat manipulation. It does seem to suit my needs quite well. Thank you. That's at least one good thing you've done right.

[If only he knows about his upcoming death, he might change his mind on what side he chose.]
In most stories, it's true that the ambitious ones die terrible deaths, but it's also written in history that they made tremendous strides to change the future of the people they ruled. Correct?

Your observation isn't incorrect, but would it not make more sense to live on and make even more changes?
Why do I find this conversation highly ironic?
It's sound advice and I'm far from finished. I have only just begun. Now a question for you, my long-haired, water-colored friend.
Suppose that power and ambition are bedfellows, which would you prefer the heroic martyr or the one that actually did something that others only simply dreamed of doing?
i know right? lol
It's very interesting. :D
It's odd. I know my end is a tragic one, but I suppose that's what I get for trying to side with a creature that has no remorse. It's just business.
Power can drive a person mad. In his case, immortality has him bent in a solitary conflict. Right or wrong, I have to make a choice.

You can say that. The question now remains if she's going to decide on a game or not. It should be interesting, even if she's a bubble-headed hag.
You see, we seem to have this love-hate relationship. I love to hate her and she loves to torment me. It's an equal partnership.

[He tilts his head with a dramatically raised brow.]
It sounds like you're talking out of experience, hm?
no subject
That's okay. As long as it isn't too mean.

[A bored sigh, but a smile still the same, Sou is pretty pleased with himself.]
As long as I'm around, I highly doubt that she'll be bored. She's a pussy-cat, really.
[Was that somethingnice?]

[ all she heard was whined, whine, and more whine? Well, it's always the same with Shizuru. Kazuma was a headache in himself. ]
Shouldn't you be treatin' your mun with more respect, kid?
no subject
[Sou smirks and straightens his tie.]
My mun and I have an understanding. As long as she listens to me and obeys my orders, I'll cooperate. It's that simple.

[ Her tone was dead pan. ]
Aren't you arrogant. Didn't your parents teach you to be respectful to your elders?
no subject
[Of course he's not changing his mentality on that.]
You could use some good skin care tips though. You're starting to reveal your age. I bet crow's feet are a bitch. Ah, smoking makes you age just that much faster. No matter.
[He really doesn't care and that's apparent with that smirk.]

[ She flattened her gaze. ]
That's gold coming from a than this guys. ]
[ Yusuke's sass was more annoying to deal with than this one. ]
Does it look like I care?
no subject
…Heat manipulation?
no subject
That depends on one's rather limited point of view.
[Once his power was mentioned, he grins widely. He take pride in his power unlike a few certain someone's he knows.]
Oh yes. Unlike most people that can't take the heat when they're in the desert or places where they just whine about the weather for being too hot, I have no problem with it.
no subject
[Ping! Gaara knows plenty about the desert. And powers, hey. This could be useful to know.]
Can you control the temperature of a terrain? Or does your body simply adapt better to the environment?
no subject
[He smirks. Talking about his powers is not something he normally does because of exploited weaknesses. He learned that lesson the hard way. Instead, he lifts a finger.]
Let's just say I can do both.
no subject
[He's a cautious one. Like a ninja.]
Interesting. And what do you intend to achieve at the tower?
no subject
You know, you ask a lot of questions. Well, since you asked nicely, maybe I have no intentions at all.
[He smirks. He likes playing with people even if it means getting into a fight or two.]
Or maybe I do. Your guess is as good as mine.
no subject
Hmm. Manipulation. How characteristic of humans.
no subject
How short-sighted of you. It doesn't perturb me that someone asks questions. In fact, I'll gladly answer it. My interest in the Tower is strictly my own business. Although it does intrigue me that so many worlds are gathered in such a tiny place, relatively speaking.
I assure you, I don't intend to dominate it. I have other interests.
