Voice testing for a Courier
Pleasure to meet you, then, Miss Mun. I guess this makes us partners in crime, then? Let's hope this goes better than my last job. But then again... you take two to the skull and survive, and there's nothing that comes after that could be worse in comparison.
-No, not even Nipton or Vault 23 can scare me off. Got to finish this job. The Mojave needs this little lone Courier still. Retirement- and the future- can wait.
With that in mind, let's begin.

[A smile though, she knows what this is like.]
Good luck. With everything.
Also if you figure out how to retire from stuff like this give me a shoat. I'd love to know.
[Not that she would anyway. Too much to do.]

[What would be worse: being kicked out of a Vault or getting a double-tap to the head?]
Mmn. I'll see what I can do. They can't need us 24-7-365, you know. After all, the world was functioning before we started. Right?

[Well more like, being woken up in the middle of the night by your best friend telling you your dad has left you alone. Being handed a gun, finding your fathers assistant dead, your life has been a lie and that the Overseer is willing to kill you. Being forced to kill for the first time in your life, and it being people you've grown up with and then escaping into a place you've been told was uninhabitable your entire life.
Emotional trauma vs. Physical. Either way, they both got a harsh introduction to things.]
It seemed to be. Though I was stuck in a vault so I couldn't tell you much. Other then what I've learned in my travels.

[No Vaults for this girl. Nothing like a delivery gone wrong, jerkass Brotherhood members, cities of the dead, and an angry fellow courier to make things interesting.]
Cazadores are mutant wasps. Very large, very fast, and very deadly.

[Small things make all the difference.]
Also I've been highly irradiated more times then I really want to count.
.....those sound. Utterly terrifying. I'm glad we don't have them out here. Though if you do find your way out here? If you want my advice? Never, EVER go to a place called Point Lookout? The locals there are insanely hard to kill.

Then again, impending radioactive death does unfairly tilt the odds, even against plant-zombies.

If you take enough Rad-X and Rad-Away, even radioactive death seems a little less likely. Death by ghoul, though, nothing to stop that except to put them down.

Ghouls I can deal with. I can punch ghouls. I can't punch radiation, though. I like to resolve the issues that could possibly kill me in a hands-on way, if possible.

I don't blame you. Better to die fighting than to perish because of something you can't see. [Like radio static. Damn it, Elijah.] -It's been too long since then. Have you been well, Ms. Santangelo?
no subject
Been well enough, I suppose. [There's a slightly amused eyebrow arch at the continued use of 'Ms. Santangelo'. Veronica looks down at herself, then back at the Courier with a wry grin.] I know the robes don't flatter me much, but I always thought myself as more of a hit than a miss, but, hey, can't help personal preferences.
