Voicetest; canon is the Leviathan Trilogy by Scott Westerfeld
Pardon me, Ms. Mundane, but don't you think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself? You still have one final book to read, after all, and I suppose you'll want to look over the aeronautics manual as well.
Even more importantly than that, what are we to do in one of these games while there's a war being waged across Europe? It may be true I'm little more than a "waste of hydrogen" aboard the Leviathan at the moment, and yet I'm afraid I don't see how leaving the continent - or perhaps more - is going to achieve anything.

I suppose it doesn't make as much of a difference when dealing with these Mundanes as it does with hydrogen breathers.

Well, it isn't my airship; it belongs to the British. But I am familiar with the Leviathan's crew.
You know Dylan?
[The Thor sounds like another ship of some kind.]

You serve on it, is what I mean. { Even though he looks young, but.
And he nods. } Good bloke. Someone ought to keep a leash on him, though.

Oh...yes of course. [Not exactly. Alek's a horrible liar, but explaining everything (and after that ordeal with Eddie Malone)...]
[Alek smiles.] That sounds like him. Dylan's the best airman I know.
babelfish forever living in your ears. beautiful.
or to make a quip on how Alek must not know many airmen if a boy's the best he's seen}You're good friends with him, I'll take it.
You mean detestable, don't you? How would one get it out?
Well, he really doesn't know many; it's true.]Friends and allies, yes. But how is it that Dylan came to be on another ship? [As far as Alek knows, Dylan would never leave the Leviathan willingly. A transfer, perhaps?]
GUESS YOU'LL HAVE TO FIGURE THAT OUT ON YOUR OWN HUH <33
Pffffttt.... "Get stuffed!"
[In other words, it explains absolutely nothing.]
You're telling me that this ship of yours travels through outer space, and that the officers won't allow any passengers to disembark?
I hear firecrackers in your ears are an easy way to draw it out.
Easy way to get killed, too, I suspect.
[He's not even sure if this explanation can be believed.]
Are none of the worlds sensible and orderly? [Not that the real world is sensible, but at least it isn't made up entirely of alcohol.]
