His shoulders slumped with a sigh and he shook his head at Naruto. What was with all of the older Narutos he ran into acting like they'd seen a ghost or something?

"Yes, dobe, it's me," Gray-black eyes gave the blond a flat look as he pocketed his hands, slouching back just a little while he waited for Naruto to finish comparing their heights. He had to wonder if he was still taller than Naruto in the future or if he finally outgrew being the 'runt' of their team, as Tazuna had so eloquently put it.

Right. Looked like he was. It was strange, to be around Sasuke when he was looking so young, and obviously without a thought in the world about going after Orochimaru. It bothered him a little he supposed, knowing that he wouldn't be able to change anything.

... Couldn't stop him trying.

"'Course it's you!" He shouted suddenly, turning toward Sasuke and throwing his arm over the boy's shoulder to pull him. "S'good t'see ya!"

He tried to slip out of the grip, but Naruto was faster than he remembered and he couldn't get out in time. So that left him to try and push away with a wince, eye twitching at the contact, "Let go of me!"
