Voice testing. Please be so gentle. With me, not him. Gary can take it, but I can't.
No. Mun. I-, Mun, I can't go somewhere where my Alpha ability won't work. I can't.
And I can't go anywhere, also. I have to go to work. They need me at work. I have to do work at work which is where I live now. I went there because I wanted to because I do what I want. Okay.
Your passwords have no numbers. They have to have numbers. You have to change that. It's not safe. And you should listen to me.
You should.

No, she wants me to go somewhere. I can but I don't want to.

Though she sent me to another dangerous place. But Daddy and Leon are there so maybe it won't be that bad. She says going to a new place lets you make new friends.
no subject
A dangerous place. Huh.

[She nods] I'm on a boat with evil people controlling it. We can't get to the control room to get it to go where we want it to go and there's ghosts... Guess they're not as bad as zombies, but they can still be pretty scary. From what I've heard the one my size is really mean
no subject
There's no such thing as ghosts. You should shoot them.

[she kicks her feet a little as she sits on a low wall.] They won't let me have a gun. I'm only thirteen. I don't think Leon will let me even carry a metal pipe to arm myself with until he teaches me how to fight... But I can run fast and hide in small spaces!
no subject
They should give you a ballistic vest. They Velcro. I had one but they wouldn't let me keep it.
no subject
We don't have access to one. Probably would have if Leon had his uniform. But he's not a cop anymore he's an Agent.
no subject
Agents have ballistic vests. Sometimes.
no subject
He might... but I don't go through his locker. Daddy's is okay though, because usually he has candies. [Though last time he didn't have mints. She still has her chocolates so it's okay]

You shouldn't touch other people's things. Like my shelf in the fridge. It says 'Gary', because that's my name. It's Gary. So you shouldn't eat anything on there. Even if it's pudding. Who are you.
I'm not talking to you like you're a child. I want you to know that. Thirteen isn't a child. You're a teenager. And I'm not a child either. And I don't like when people talk to me like that.
no subject
I get permission before I do... Well okay except for Daddy's things, because usually he ignores me when I try to tell him important stuff.
I'm Sherry, and guessing your Gary. [She smiles brightly, he may have a weird way of talking but it's fun.]
I know you're not, that's why I keep talking. If I felt insulted I would have left. Others talk like that because they think they know better. [She eye rolls] Right... If they did then they would know we're brighter than we look.
no subject
Okay. I didn't want you to think that I was but I wanted you to know that you can't have my pudding.
Hi Sherry.
no subject
It's okay I don't like pudding.
no subject
No. That's. No. Everyone likes pudding.
no subject
It reminds me of the police station. And I had a bad experience there.
no subject
I don't like being arrested. They took my shoelaces.
no subject
Dr. Rosen? Who's he?
I wasn't arrested... It's where the sick people bit the others hiding there with me. I wasn't bit. I hit in the air shafts because the sick people scared me and the cops kept telling me to get out from underfoot. Though it's where mom and dad told me to wait.
Leon said our home doesn't exist anymore. The President had a rocket sent to it that blew up the whole town, because there were too many sick. The loss of lives outweighed the risks of trying to cure the sick. [She's sad about knowing that though.]
no subject
Dr. Rosen is my therapist. And I work for him.
The government. They, they're bad. They're jerkasses. They put a chip in my neck. But I don't have a chip in my neck anymore.
no subject
Oh, I know they're going to have me seeing one if I get home from the boat... I don't know if I want to see a therapist. I might scare them too much.
[she looks at him a moment.] Why did they put a chip in you? [Now she's worried that they might try that with her... But she's a little girl they wouldn't would they? Of course not, even if she was one of the survivors of that city... Leon would stop them wouldn't he?] They wouldn't do that if you carried something inside you that makes other people sick would they?
no subject
Because they're jerkasses. They wouldn't greet me appropriately. And they touched me and I don't like to be touched. And yeah they would. I told you. They're jerkasses.
Or they would just kill you.
no subject
Leon and Claire wouldn't let them do that! They'd make sure I'm safe. [She hopes at least..]
no subject
Yeah. Okay.
People still die, though.
no subject
They won't... They're tougher than I am.
no subject
Yeah. Okay.
