So long as it doesn't last forever, anyway. I have this condition where I go all stir-crazy if super-powered sociopaths and street criminals aren't trying to kill me at least every other week.

I end up driving all the other Burners crazy at those times. Not that we get many, but as rare as they are - it has it's effect on me!

I've managed to stay sane so far. Just a matter of finding some extra stuff to do to keep your mind off it.

Or in my case, a lot of extra stuff, since the place I got sent doesn't exactly have much in the way of a crime problem.

Nautilus. It's kinda like a city and benevolent deity with a weird sense of humor wrapped up all in one.

It's still got some bad guys kicking around, buuuut they're outnumbered badly enough that they don't bother trying anything. Plus, our team's got the giant robots on it, so...there's that.

And mutant powers, but wow, giant robots? How did you build them?

We didn't. Technically I guess they're aliens or something, but "giant robots" is a lot easier to explain. Totally sentient and self-aware, too.

So, they're kind of like you and me, if either of us were made of metal and could transform into cars and stuff.

I mean they can turn into cars. Or any some other vehicle, since the biggest one can turn into a space shuttle. Each one seems to only turn into one vehicle though, so, I guess there's some rules involved.

I don't really know the details though. I mean, we didn't have them back home, and I've never built anything more complicated than my webshooters, so I'm kind of out of my element here.
