I really don't see how difficult your choice is. You either play me as a Jedi or you play as Malak's apprentice. Either way, Revan will be there if I am. And it is always possible for you to plot that someone turn me away from a Dark path so it isn't as if it would be permanent should to so choose I follow that path.
Our choices are limited and you have such difficulty making up your mind, it's a blessing that the Jedi Council haven't gone to your world for any Force Sensitive children. We'd all be doomed if they had. Or they'd have all turned to join the Sith. Regardless, it would have been very difficult for us.

[ No way. This has to be a trick. No way Bastila survived all those years, too. ]

What can't be?

[ Actually, what more can he do? He's already plotting an HK-47-led genocide against the Empire. ]

As it stands, she's considering leaving me in the hands of Darth Malak rather than this... Emperor.

[ Revan's changed a lot, Bastila. Probably more now than even during his stint as Dark Lord of the Sith. ]
Malak... [ Sore subject for him, even now. ] If I am sent to this place as well, it won't matter. I won't allow some other Emperor control over the Galaxy. I'll kill him, as well.

[She's noticing.]
Revan. Should death really be your goal? We only attacked to capture you, as I'm sure you recall.

[ He shook his head, jerking his hand defensively. ]
There can be no compromise! No prison can hold him, no pacifist route that can keep him contained. He has no honor, no capacity to see reason. If I have to tear through him and his entire empire, I will do so. I've saved the Republic twice before, and I'll do so again.

[She's not even sure how to reply because part of her actually believes in the path Revan wants to take to fight the Emperor and the other... is still pretty dedicated to the Jedi teachings. Which is probably why it was/will be so easy for her to be corrupted.]
Do you truly believe there is no other way?

Statement: You cannot be both.

I would venture a guess that some are just born indecisive.
I know, HK-47. I would prefer to remain as a Jedi but she seems to be leaning heavily towards my being a Sith. If only to make things difficult for Revan.

[ Revan turned away from Bastila for a moment. ]
There has never been any other way. I was the best case scenario for a Sith reforming, and even now, I know the Jedi Code isn't enough. The Galaxy will never be at peace so long as one Sith remains alive.

Genocide isn't the answer. Some can still be turned, like when we were on Korriban. And what if... I do end up as a Sith? Would you have me killed as well?
no subject
[ Revan shook his head, slamming his fist down. ]
I will do what I must. I'll mourn for the dead, but if the Republic will be saved, no price is too great.
[ No, he's not even going to entertain that thought, Bastila. ]
I've saved you before, and I'll do it again.

[She almost flinches when he slams him fist down. Almost.]
Killing is always a great cost.
[Too late, the thought is there.]
I know that you will.

[ Yeah... he said something very similar during the Mandalorian Wars, right before his descent into the Dark Side. But as Bastila confirmed her continued faith in him, he leaned in, and brought his hands to her sides. He's missed her so much. ]
I won't lose you a second time, Bastila.

[She stepped forward after a moment and hugged him. Tightly.]
You won't, no matter what has to happen.

We have a chance to save the Republic again. Just like old times.
[ And this time, he won't leave her behind. ]

No time for rest for us, hm?
Because I couldn't resist.
My mundane is both 'excited and happy' to see someone 'playing' you.
Eeee!!
My own is equally as excited to see you.

Because I couldn't resist either, you're amazing.
My mundane shares a similar sentiment for you.

Query: Does she need putting down?
no subject
[Because it's Revan and he's proven that anything can be done, in the past.]
no subject
[What's this? Bastila actually looks thoughtful but she finally shakes her head.]
If only it were possible.

Query: But does the hostilities not make the situation more fun?
