His scattered memories were trapped in those cards? [How would that even work? Perhaps if this being had much of his mind in the form of data, and that was linked to those cards? A far-fetched hypothesis though.]

'Tron' came back, but he's different... He took off his mask, and half of his face was a galaxy..!!! He doesn't have any emotions of his own now... And he's causing his own sons so much pain just for revenge...
