Mirrorverse AU of Transformers Prime's Starscream: voice test
Are you insane?
You have the scarred revolutionary and elemental girl already, why decide to turn me into one of your playthings too?!
I don't have time for this, I have responsibilities to Lord Megatron and my crew!
...And I don't have time for a genuine study into alternate realities!
And don't you dare mock me with the possibility that I'll see any form of Jetfire again!
He is dead. Dead and gone, because of that damned Cliffjumper--!
...I fraggin' urge you to reconsider this course of action.

...Is there a Megatron there? Soundwave? Knock Out? Breakdown?
no subject
They may not be exactly what you're used to, though. Fair warning. I keep running into bots and cons who recognize me from other universes. [which in some cases may actually be an improvement on his usual attitude.]
Gonna be lonely without them? [teasing]
no subject
[Grunted.]
A bit, yes. [How could he deny that?]
[a small niggling part reminds him that such separation was inevitable, everyone leaves in the end]
no subject
[his faceplates shift into a knowing smirk.] Yeah. You'll have to teach me how that works.
no subject
Oh? Do you not have comrades, a ship's crew?
no subject
The "comrades" I used to have were usually waiting for me to make a slip so they could tear out my fuel intake lines. Postwar conditions have improved, but--not by much.
Are you from the hippie-Decepticon world?
no subject
...Postwar? The war's over in your world?!
War's still on in my world so...no, no hippies. [Sounds rather confused.]
no subject
Hm. Just strikes me as strange that a Starscream would be talking about crew and loyalty.
no subject
[Grunt. Sounds a bit drained. Voice very flat.] I don't think even loyal hippies would approve of crushing an Autobot's spark because he killed your comrade.
no subject
[ponders.] I don't think I'd approve, either, but only because revenge won't make you feel better.
no subject
[Low sigh.]
A lesson I learned the hard way. [Not that he expected it to make him feel better, but it felt like something he had to do. But to feel worse afterward was an unwelcome surprise. And it only served to make him a target for Arcee, further unhinging her....]
no subject
So you already killed him, huh. Slow or fast?
no subject
...Fast. I just snapped.
no subject
That's nothing to be ashamed of, Starscream.
no subject
...You're more lenient than Megatron.
[Shook his head.] I should not have lost control like that.
no subject
What can I say. I like Starscreams. I like to think I have something in common with most of you.
Yeah, well. Show me a mech who hasn't made a mistake and I'll show you a protoform.
no subject
[Laughs.] True enough.
no subject
So how likely is it you'll be coming to see us? Because I don't want to take your mun's side, here, but I wouldn't mind your company.
ooc: this is fun!
Very likely. She's working through what seems to be some form of paperwork, and she says there are deadlines to wait for and adhere to, and then for an approval process to wait through, and if all that goes well, I should be seeing you and the others eventually.
Your company is just as welcome.
ooc: *-* Yes, your Scream is such a cutie.
Ah. The apps. That shouldn't be so hard, she'll do fine.
You're one of a privileged few with the taste to say so. [Translation: lots of people hate his gears and guts.]
ah ha, Mirrorverse Primescream always struck me as a cutie, glad for chances to play him as such
I suppose so, especially since it's not her first time.
[sounds amused in a good-natured way] Honored, I'm sure.
dsgndjfg I really love him aaaah
Mine was thinking about a second, but she's indecisive, and I have control over most of her mental territory. --Which isn't saying much, it's a really small and really dusty place.
[dammit this jovial Starscream...] Even if you don't end up Maxic, I can probably get you some lab equipment.
thnx. i love him too. i wish there was canon like this. steve blum would nail it.
[hee, the back-up would be nice. because i want to get this 'scream into trouble. like, under the right circumstances, he won't back out of a fight and probably ends up getting more hurt because he didn't try to run. right circumstances being super angry or in super protective mode of someone else. i kinda think the first time he'd see ratchet, he'd just try to attack him.]
I don't know what mine's thinking trying to juggle three muses--or so she likes to call me, the elemental girl and the scarred revolutionary.
[ha ha, this 'scream just ended up having an interesting sense of humor/cheer for the most part.] Thank you, that would be an immense help! [and now he's super excited]
;o; he is one of the best VAs I know holy crap
Don't get my mun to have me rush in and pick up your pieces, I'm not the self martyring type! [yeah that was totally why he saved Megatron right in front of all those Autobots, definitely.]
You're ...welcome. [damn he just can't with the pleasantries, it's nice, but it's so weird.]
he is the greatest
*-* I think Lorne Kennedy could rock a Starscream VA too if he had a mind
who's Lorne Kennedy?
WELL...
Re: WELL...
