You really are planning to leave me stuck at this age, aren't you? That's all well and good for some people, and for.. you know, vampires and stuff, but.. I'm Time. And I have children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and it's all a little weird for them when I look like a teenager.

I want my six months as an adult every year back. I don't think that's asking too much considering everything else I've put up with.

It doesn't seem like much but mundanes tend to like to see us suffer.

Though I suppose it is a small miracle that I don't look like that childish depiction of myself.

Yes, though I will admit some things seem a little more ideal in that world than our own.

Zeus and Hera are certainly more lovey-dovey according to Disney than they are in real life, anyway.

Generally everyone seems to coexist more easily.

Well, Liam's been the same age now for forty-two years and he hasn't gotten bored with me, yet, so I suspect he'll be my 'elder' for the foreseeable future.

I'm Time, and Time passes. Which means it's not precisely eternal youth-- normally.

Besides, do you know how difficult it is to make it in the human world when you look fourteen?

I don't spend much time about the human cultures. I avoid them as much as possible. I prefer the forests.

There's not much I don't like about existence, really. Considering how long it was just me, I enjoy distractions.

Maybe she likes more this way...?
