I share your feelings regarding all of this, and I've been there longer. And yet even with just a brief time, it is better then not seeing them at all is it not?

He's possibly my favorite, but the actor is a lot to blame for that.

I doubt you have entirely the same feelings in the matter that I do. But I'm sure yours are equally strong. I fear for the balance we have now, what this could do.

No I do not, but from what I know of your present, my own feelings are much stronger than you may think. And yet from what my mundane tells me of this John, the balance would not be so upset as you may think.

How can we be sure? James, the last time I saw John he'd just admitted he was willing to sacrifice history to be with me. I cannot fathom the depths of what the creature residing inside him has done to his mind.

And yet Helen you are forgetting the price that we pay when we arrive in the castle. And you are assuming of course that he would come from your time and not possibly sooner. Both of those things would alter his perspective of events, life, yourself, even the castle at large. And they are things we need to keep in mind if he were to ever arrive.

That might give him some peace. John's not a bad man, not really. The John I knew before..he had a temper but I firmly believe that any darkness in him was cultivated to rage by that being inside him. He deserves a chance.

John always had an edge even before the creature took hold, Helen. It only brought it out far quicker than he would have himself. But you are right he does deserve a chance.

I am not saying John was an angel, but I cannot imagine he would have done those things had that creature not corrupted him. He could have been helped I think.

Or he could have been far worse a threat without the creature and his rational mind allowing him to think more clearly.
