I do hope you realize the futility of our current situation? We both know you'll never do anything more with me than amuse yourself by thinking in my tone of voice on occasion. Besides, what's to be done? You could either continue to torture me by insisting on keeping me perpetually on that freezing station, or .... well, we both know the unpleasant alternative.

Truly, though, given the percentage of humans in these games I'm not sure how well-received a face like mine would be, particularly in a world full of humans who have never encountered a Cardassian. Though that certainly also has it's benefits.

It would be nice to start life over again as a plain, simple tailor. In a world where doing so doesn't evoke immediate suspicion, no less.

And I do so love games.

My mun is particularly happy to see you existing here and now. I fear I do not know who you are, but I do like the way that your words move. They have a sort of poetry to them that I cannot help but be in awe of, even if speaking on the most mundane of things.

I suppose that would depend on the danger. I'm loathe to brag, but survival instinct isn't a trait I typically find myself lacking in.

Ah, yes. Love. A crippling thing, though sentiment in general can be. I've certainly seen it work to a person's benefit, but I've seen it kill a man more often than save him.

It does have the ability to drive good men mad... I pity them, but then, I suppose I shouldn't since the same has happened to me.

But tell me, good sir, if you are aware that you are mad... does that not mean that you are actually sane?

Of course not. Sanity isn't defined by the awareness of our own mental state. If that were the case our asylums would be much emptier, I should think.

Oh, not at all.

I am an elf. Though, I might as well be human since I was raised in their society. I don't think I could ever really call myself a true elf due to that.

I don't get why people care about what you look like, but if you wanna go somewhere I'm getting sent to this place called theinstitute that's gonna start soon. Everyone there's a mutant and some of them don't look like humans, so they probably won't care what you look like. Mun says you could teach kids sewing or something.
