My mun told me normally people have their souls ripped out when they arrive at the Observatory. Isn't that sort've the same thing?

Not really. The soul ripping I'm trying to skip out on doesn't involve me gaining plus one animal companion and instead is more of an awakening of an ancient evil that really should have stayed asleep sort of thing. Plus there's amnesia. I really, really hate amnesia. It sucks.

Don't worry, there's no other way. Ancient unspeakable evil is not going to be a problem.

They are really quite terrible, which I guess comes with the whole ancient unspeakable evil thing.

Oh, she has a name. Quite a few, actually, but she's usually called the Corrupter.

Yep, she's a woman. And of course the one who sealed her away was her husband.

And the nearest thing to cram her into was you?

No, he kinda...misplaced half of her soul when he was putting it into a the host he wanted her in and that missing half ended up creating me as a suitable host instead. It's weird and complicated and all that jazz.

Makes sense. No mun really wants to play with someone with a dull, uncomplicated past. I started off with such a clean past, but she keeps adding things to it.

Besides my creation, my past is dull and uncomplicated. There needs to be more wars and political intrigue and letting me actually cut up important people in my past. It wouldn't build much character, but it'd definitely be more exciting for me.

My family and we're not a gang. We're not even human. We have wings and special powers and we fight evil because it's not like anybody else can.
