On his acceptance to Cape & Cowl

[Well, it's kind of hard to get your point across when you can't actually speak, but the look should speak for itself.

It's definitely the look of 'don't worry, everything is going to be fine, and you got in on the first try and everything!' with a hint of excitement because getting to go to a place like that sounds nice to him. He's pretty excited.

Really though. There's definitely a look that's trying to get his mundane to stop worrying so much when it's really not necessary.

*Well, you aren't the Armaros he played with before, but knowing any Armaros is safe is a good thing.*

I'm glad your mundane's sent you somewhere nice.

*Of course he can! He did spend three months with one in another game, so he's gotten well attuned to his body language. His happiness is infectious - Enoch hasn't had the best time in his own game, so every bit of vicarious happiness counts.*

I hope you do well there.

*It takes him a moment of gauging to get it - he knows that curious look and given the conversation...he must want to know about where his own mundane's placed him, right?*

My mundane? ...I was once in a place called Meridian with...another you under a different mundane, but when it closed I was sent to the Tower of Animus instead.

*He doesn't elaborate. No need to tell Armaros he's in a horror game. He even tries to keep a straight face! And does a decent...okay somewhat decent job of it.*

*...Oh no. That face. Being caught in a lie of omission is bad enough, but how can he keep lying to a face like that? After a bit of a pause where he tries to think up the words to explain his mood and fails, he settles for the most straightforward explanation.*

It's a horror game, Armaros.

*See, that's the thing, he didn't want to ruin Armaros's good mood or make anyone worry about him. Armaros gets a smile, somewhat weak considering there isn't much behind it other than the desire to lift Armaros's mood.*

This is about you, Armaros. Don't worry about me.
warriorscribe: (No problem. Everything's fine.)

*Too kind for his own good sometimes. The smile gets his own to relax into a truly genuine one, and he reaches out to pat Armaros on the shoulder.*

I'll be all right.

*Well, he doesn't know that. But he trusts his mundane won't see to breaking him to unplayability, so things can't get too bad, can they?*

*It's a bit late to ask he be careful. He's pulled his share of reckless stunts already. Asking Enoch to be careful when children are in danger is a futile effort.

All said, the scribe would gladly follow if his mundane could handle another game - but as it was it was as impossible as Armaros suspected.

The gesture was appreciated, met with a nod and a softening of his smile, less relaxed but not necessarily tense: emotional.* I'll try to take care of myself. You too, Armaros.
