this is what we call a voicetest.

You really think this is such a good idea? [ He obviously doesn't. ] We both have plenty of other things to focus on - more important things, in my case - so why don't you just run off and play with someone else and leave me alone?

And no, that someone else does not include my daughter. Don't think for a second that I haven't noticed what you've been doing with her.

Do you really want to go down the road of "you started it," Chris? Because this particular road starts with your sister. Couldn't I just as justifiably say it wouldn't be a problem if your sister could keep her mass killing and arson to herself? To say nothing of what she did to Derek.

Don't act like this is about me in any way. You know who's driving the conflict now, and I have nothing to do with it.

[... well, if he'd beat Gerald to their target, he certainly would be "contributing" to the "conflict," or in other words, killing everyone ever.]
burninhale: (which i am. do you like blackouts?)

Well, god forbid I make plans to survive being slaughtered by code-breaking hunters. Do you think I want to do all this? Do you think I enjoy biting teenagers and herding them like cats? Because I really, really don't. You know where I'd like to be? I'd like to go back to that night, a few hours before the fire that killed my family and put me in a hell I've never actually left. I'd love that. I'd love to be that person again. But I can't. And since your little girl seems ready to blossom into a new Kate, maybe what happens in this town between werewolves and hunters rests more on you than on me. Did you ever think about that, you sad little bystander of a man? Or are you only capable of taking action when it comes to killing your wife?
