I don't see why you have to take me from one of those two points, Miss Mun. It would be simpler to let me finish saving Termina. And nicer, too. You could have just as much fun with me without forcing me to fail my quest and I could have a lot more fun going to school for the first time.

Very much so. [His precious has left him. OR IS THAT YOUR FAULT?] But if you can accept this so can I. [After all leaving Termina to waste is a bit more pressing than his fiancee disappearing.]

There's not much choice in the matter for me. The place she wants to send me doesn't let those who attend return home at any time. Canon Updates aren't allowed.

At least this is giving her enough trouble deciding that I can hold out hope of convincing her to take me from post game. I can save everyone if I'm given the time I need.

Good. I'm in a world call Termina and it's going to be destroyed by the Moon crashing down if I don't break the curses on the four temples and free the four guardians of the land. I have three days to do it. Even if I don't sleep for the whole of it - and I haven't - that's only 72 hours. The only way for me to do this is to keep resetting my time there and starting everything over. I can manipulate the flow of time enough that once I free a temple from the curse, I can keep it freed and hold proof of that. But I still have to get to each of them and sometimes that means talking to certain people in town. People I have to make friends with over and over again because they never remember me after each reset.

Miss Mun wants to take me away from Termina before I can stop the moon... or even when it's crashing down at the end of the three days before I can reset time again.

If I pass the 'application process' I will. I didn't know schools were so tough to get into.

[That's cause he's a lot older than he looks. Which is something she wasn't really able to remember since, well, she'd never known him like this. Only before she sent him back in time.]

That would be nice. It's a school that teaches people magic and you know a lot about that, so you'd be a good study helper. What are those called?

A tutor. Magic school, is it? You certainly have the aptitude. What sort of magic would you be learning there? I'm afraid I'm not that talented with offensive magic, but I do have some experience in most other types.

Lots of different kinds! Miss Mun says there are dozens of different classes for all sorts of things.

[He started counting on his fingers.]

Flying, learning about magical plants, making potions, how to turn one thing into another, opening locks without a key...

That would have been really useful to know before leaving the forest.

I imagine so. Being able to unlock doors at will would make things go considerably faster.

[She tilts her head to the side thoughtfully.]

You'll be learning transfiguration? It's very useful, though it can be dangerous to try it on living things. It sounds as if your school is fairly practical.

I think it is. A lot of people go there to learn and it's been around for hundreds of years. I'm pretty sure it has. But... it means leaving Hyrule forever. There's no going back because they haven't found a way to, yet.
