Muse does not understand ratings and is wondering about comparisons
So, these 'ratings' things are important? You like that TV channels can track your viewing habits. It doesn't bother you that you are being stamped and recorded and filed away as a number. I, I just don't understand you. But you're happy mine are going up - okay, sure. If being categorized and easily referenced makes you happy then fine.
So someone else caught the slight similarities between my show and that British show? Well, there are about nine truly original ideas in the world - everything else that comes along are just variations on those nine. Why is it so amusing to you to read people's annoyance over how this isn't an American version of that show?
[pauses and seems to be listening to his mun's reply]
Ah. I see. The seeming inability to enjoy both shows and actually get the name of the lead actor in that show correct is amusing to you. Makes sense.
