Me? I wanted to be president for a while, back when I was still in elementary school. Wish kinda wore off after a while.

President... seems like a pretty stressful job. [Because being a cop in Gotham isn't stressful at all.]

Seemed like the thing to do, at the time. Patriotic. Working for the good of the people.

Then I figured out there are better ways of enacting change. Leaves you lower down on the food chain, but you get to see what you're doing up close.

I think you're right. Seems like it'd be pretty easy to forget about the hardships people have to deal with every day, from a big fancy office, where it's all just statistics on a piece of paper.
