might've reserved at [community profile] ataraxion... (spoilers in comments)

I belong in Gotham.

But since I know you'll do whatever you want, regardless of what I think, if I end up there, I'll do what I can to help.

Also, I think three times is enough. You're not made of money.

Hey, I'd do more if I could. My mun is sending me to [community profile] capeandcowl though, so I probably can't.

I know how hard the job can be to get into.

It's a pity. I think we would have gotten along pretty well. In the mean time... guess you will.

The secret is to train for everything.

Good.

Learn how to hold your breath. Practice until you can do it for a long time. Try to build up a resistance to common drugs and poisons. Learn gymnastics and parkour.

And, of course, how to fight - but I'd guess you already know some of that.

Stay away from guns. For one, they're a crutch. For another, you aren't going to be operating inside the law. You don't have the right to kill anyone. Guns are the lazy way out.

Learn to dodge. Work on your reflexes. Being good in a fistfight is a good start, but it won't be a lot of use unless you get a lot better. Unless you're lucky, you won't be fighting one on one, and your opponents won't fight fair.

Me, I do what it takes to win. My, uh, predecessor was a bit more of a classicist. You don't have to be, but knowing as many fighting styles as possible helps.
