Shiny new muse
Oy... I finally get the whole deal in Kamurocho straightened out and get Sky Finance back on track, and get Hana back in the office to fix the mess I made of the place, and you want me to play around as your 'muse'?
And what's this about nearly crying when Munakata shot me? Seriously? You're more of a sentimental sap than I am.
[Heavy sigh.] We make quite the pair, huh? Just so long as you keep me boozed up, I'll be happy.

*started with Yakuza 4, but must go back and play the others now* /hooked
I'm no loan shark. I don't pressure people into borrowing from me, or put up flyers. People find me on their own.
...Majima-san, right? Kiryu and Saejima told me about you.
[He takes out a pack of cigarettes, lighting one, and holding out the pack for Majima.]
/that's how the series gets you :)
[ He smiles brighter. ]
Kiryu-chan and my brother...hm? Ya do get around.
[ A small nod before he takes a cigarette in turn. ]
Thank you.
It's like The Sopranos meets daytime Soap Operas. GLORIOUS!
Yeah... I was tangled up with that business with Arai...
[He sighs a bit before tossing his lighter to Majima.]
Saejima was one of the very few in Kamurocho that made me a better person for knowing him. If I were Yakuza... I'd want him as my brother, no doubt.
[Knowing the relationship between Saejima and Majima, Akiyama debates asking a rather personal question, but eventually opts to say nothing. Not like knowing more about her would bring her back.]
... that is a good explanation! XD
[ He catches the lighter to light his own, going quiet. Yasuko-chan. ]
I know. He's my one and only brother... back with the family with his own family and even a lieutenant. I suppose that's only fair, though. Mmn, it's only right.
*really needs to rent Dead Souls next*
Yeah. I lent Lily-chan the hundred million... sorry, Yasuko-chan. Force of habit.
[He stares off into the distance for quite a while.]
You're lucky to have known Saejima and Yasuko before everything went to Hell...
it is pretty ridiculously fun
Not only that. Ya fought against a few families for her. Especially in our city, that is pretty ballsy, Yama-chan.
[Scratches his face a little then takes a drag of his cigarette but doesn't say much else about being lucky.]
I believe it. :3
Nah, I just did what I had to do. Not like everyone would come out at once without the hundred-billion. Couldn't just let Munakata and Arai have their way like that either. Bad for business.
i want yakuza 5 already ;a;
Sorry that I couldn't lend a hand, but it seems like ya all got it covered anyway.
Me too. I'm just glad Akiyama is coming back. :3
[He taps at his left eye.] I don't think Saejima would've let you be involved anyway. After what Shibata's boys did to you... let's just say the Tiger of Sasai was done hiding his claws.
Same. It's nice they're keeping Akiyama and Saejima. :D
[ Haw? ] My brother's upset about that? Should keep his mouth shut about that shit, anyway. I didn't mind losin' this eye.
I'm kinda hoping Majima will be playable in more than just Dead Souls.
[There's a small chuckle.] After twenty-five years in prison, he kind of lost his tolerance for booze. I don't even think he realized he told me. Still... I can see why you head up one of the top families in the Tojo. Kind of rare to find that particular blend of ferocity and loyalty.
[OOC: Also, know of any good places to find icon material for Aki?]
:( SADLY NO.
It's what I train my boys to have. But ya already saw some of that.
[ ooc: Nowhere I know. I made all of mine. I could make some of yours, if you like? :oa ]
All well, at least he gets off the leash in Dead Souls
Yeah, too bad that training didn't extend to karaoke.
[OOC: That would be amazing. /o/]
TOO TRUE.
Tone-deaf motherfuckers... I taught them better than that.
[ ooc: /salutes, I'm on it, fellow obscure canon friend. ]

Why? What's he done this time?

[He pulls out a cigarette and lights it.]
From what Saejima-san - Majima's sworn brother - told me, he's like a dog in more ways than one. Yeah, he's an unpredictable and fierce fighter... but he's just as loyal too. Saejima said that he lost his eye because he refused to go along with a plan involving betraying Saejima.

[ Oh, well...that's something he hadn't expected to hear. In truth, he always thought the scoundrel lost his eye doing something stupid or petty. ]
...That's quite admirable, I suppose.

[He takes a puff from the cigarette.]
In my line of work, I've dealt with a lot of Yakuza. And yeah, there are plenty of petty thieves or thugs looking to use their ties with the Yakuza to muscle what they want out of people, but they never last long. People like Majima, Saejima, and Kiryu? They're the real deal. They have dreams, ambition, but most importantly, honor. Some of their dealings may be dirty, but all-in-all they look after the downtrodden better than even the cops in Kamurocho.
