He's far from home and still not happy
I may have had my passing moments of boredom, my dear, but what I have experienced pales in comparison to the levels you're displaying right now.
Yes, yes, you're inspired. Good show, really. I'm glad to see you enjoying yourself at my misfortune. This is hardly a partnership, and bribery won't be sufficient to make me pleased. None you could propose, and by the by, you couldn't afford me if you had the imagination to do so. Now, why don't you find someone else to inspire you, and leave me be, yes? It's not as if I'm asking you for Paris.

I should hope I don't make a point to express it too often, outside of a realm like this.

When you come to feel safety in a place, it can be difficult to leave it.

I'm afraid it's not the complaint of safety. It's that there is simply no other place for me to live.

[the most ridiculously attentive] Can you elaborate?

Now, tell me of Odym.

Sadly, inspiration only encourages them, I find, and protesting does hardly anything. I suppose all that can be done is to endure.
[ who is ridiculously chill about everything? yes this guy ]

That is something I'm quite good at, you understand? It does not make me any less impatient to leave this arrangement.

Perhaps a holiday is in order? Somewhere you haven't been before. [ there are apparently new countries! he's curious, anyway. ]

It would be a diversion, at least. I grow bored in the City, it's true.

Well, when you're immortal, I suppose your life is all about diversions. Though you'd have more knowledge of it than I would, I suspect.

The point is not to dwell too often on the past.

Doing that tends to drag on you, I find! You're not exactly able to get that time back, so there's not much use worrying about the things that have already happened. Unless you're a time-traveller, of course - but then that opens up a whole other world of problems, I've heard.

[ Let's not get into the whole he can someday time travel and travel through space and all that bullshit, it's just going to confuse everyone. ]

time travel solves nothing, it just produces more complications, apparently. also a giant space cloud of shadows or something? what was up with that. ]

Regardless, it's nothing to dwell upon at the current moment. I doubt I will find one of them in this particular realm.
