Hailing from a PSL.
Wench that holds me captive,
You need some sort of help. The things you do to me and then THIS! Oh yes that man Hiddleston in his Henry IVth looked dashing but he is far from Loki. To make me "wish to run with mortals in a time of peace on Asgard." Yes, that makes PERFECT sense. Even worse that you brought Lady Jane and my bumbling fool of a brother along on this misadventure.
What kind of fool of you take me for? I would NEVER venture through Midgard parading as a human simply for sport, much less blond like Thor.
A pox on you and all those you care about.

Skittles addictions and partnerships with Stark? Please.
Though, I admit it could be a bit of fun.

There are far worse fates than hiding among the mortals while disguised. Be thankful, they do not see us being like the Olympians.

I shall bite my tongue for now. Adventures are still to be had.
no subject
Of course, it is us! Our adventures have been many thus far. I see no reason why this cannot be another opportunity to prove our worth.
no subject
Exactly! Now you and our new companion need to hurry and catch up with me. I'll be waiting for you.
no subject
Hopefully we shall not keep you waiting long.

It is fine, I shall make the wench write up something epic to explain why I am not with you and the fair maiden.

OR! Is it you whom worries what I may see, maybe the lady you are traveling with plans to bed you and that is why you wish to take your time. Blame me not for your own carnal desires.

Alas, have your run and I shall have mine. Far thee well brother, until our paths again cross.

[ Despite concurrence, a meagre amount of amusement plays upon his features. He's idly swirling a glass of liquour as he speaks. ]
Oh but fret not, my friend, dear mun could be doing much, much worse things, let me assure you of that... I'd gladly trade that absurdly quixotic affair for the abhorrent misadventures I am so often burdened with.

[ Lifts his own glass of mortal made ale in a toast.]
Alas, we are normally on Bakerstreet which we have seen and done much worse. This is simply the straw to break the camels back so to say.

[ Mirrors the motion with a half smile before necking a sizeable mouthful straight down. ]
That dire place, yes... [ He's unable to help scoffing. ] Darling mun had me there this morning, afflicted and withdrawn like a sick dog. Not entirely sure what mirth she draws from such deplorable things.
Suffice it to say, my camel's back broke rather a long time ago. Her most recent flights of fantasy have myself a mortal too. A young wizard, even. Can you imagine it? [ laughs humourlessly; shaking his head. ] Unbelievable.

Very much so, in my normal form this wench that tries to controls me claims us to be addicted to skittles and coffee. Like we are as easily swayed by mortal treats as Thor. Some of the things they do to us. It is unspeakable.
Oh I can, as mine has pondered the same. Even made a 'verse' where we have amnesia and living right out in the open. Like that would truly happen.

Mun would have many believe that this is the mortal poison of a shade of mine. A slave to the bottle. Though also, she'd like to think we're rather weak to chocolate and absurd excuses for Midgardian "music". [ He rolls his eyes, swigging his last. ] What possesses them to dream such things, I will never know.
Sad to say, it would appear our puppet masters bear some similarities in that department... she rather enjoys pondering an amnesiac me living a fabricated life as a mortal astronomer. [ Sighs, wistfully eyeing his empty glass. ]
'Tis indeed a terrible life.

They may be in need of meeting....wait no. That would be bad for both of us. 'Liam' as she has named my amnesiac self is not even granted occupation, simply locked away in the Norn Skuld's home reading Sci-fi books and dreaming of battles old.
So it is.

But, intoxication is intoxication - the intake is of no consequence when you're regressed into the form of a weakened whelp crawling out of the dark, trying to hold back his bile and his reported reservoir of tears. She does so have a morbid fascination with my misery. If anything, 'tis not becoming at all.
What-- oh you absolute-- [ takes in a sharp breath of air through a locked jaw. ] You've planted the idea in their awful little heads now. Foolish me, foolish... even so, she is cooing over the, ah... the mortal name you bear. Mine tends to change often, depending upon where she throws me.
Presently, 'tis Damian.

That it is indeed, and this foul creature has had me do such horrors as 'table dancing' and other such horrors. These wenches need to be punished for attempting to command the gods. Though I feel for you having such horrors brought upon you.
[ Shifting his eyes some wearily.] As is mine, this was not wise words I spoke. Though Damian has such charm to it, I believe a mortal cinimatic was made many years ago with a young man named Damian being the son of their "devil". Liam is a form I never wish to be stuck in again.

Nay, she has me in dark, dire revelry of my mental fractures. She rather enjoys dancing in my decay, and exacerbating it, even more so. I would claim her abhorrent for doing so, but then again... what would that make me? [ Chuckles again; terse and humourless. ]
Ah yes, I've heard of this, I believe. Perhaps not reflective, but I do suppose it has rather a ring to it.
Thankfully, no such lesser shade of myself exists on this... this place. Not yet anyway. I am the only mirror she likes to manipulate, but I fear she will add a few more to the roster, in time.
