This is not a plan, it's not even one of Crichton's plans. You are fully unprepared for this and you have no idea how any of it will turn out.

This is a human trait isn't it? Going into something with no preparation and no tactical direction. There is no way to know if they will take on any member of the crew or even if they do which one.

You can't expect humans to blindly follow orders. I've seen it too often, it is not in the nature of the species. They are, at best, unpredictable, at worst a catastrophe.

You would do better to not get your hopes up. You're putting all your legs in one basket.

Why would you do that? You can't hatch them or eat them in baskets. Your language is as frelled as the rest of you.

Within reason, we're deployed when our presence will be most effective. I used to think that anyway. I've come to question most of what we were told were basic truths.

It's very effective, everything I knew to be true was what they told me, and I believed it. I would have been loyal up until my death, which would very likely have come at the hands of my fellow Peacekeepers.
