Voice testing; planning to go to United One
[Well, firstly; Marcia points at the username.] You don't have a lot of faith in me, do you? You seem to be the one who is lost in this cause--but that's not the point, is it?
Impatience. [She pauses when she says that word, before going into a bit of a smile.] You have a lot of it, don't you? You really need to get some more self control, lady. Even if you are sort of making me for a game--worked for the other three you've kept at games for a while, so I don't know if I can make my opinion on that alone. The thing is, I know a little about you already--you like to make most of your muses miserable, and make a lot of 'em want to kick you in the face if it were possible. Really isn't, but I can tell that's a path you're considering with me; kind of like Arsenic, right?
Well, I'll go along with it. [The smile turns bigger--only a bit, though.] You have to follow what I say though, okay? Remember three words for me, then.
Completion. I'd like you to wait until Clair is down before you put me anywhere, but I know that won't be possible. I'll bargain with you there; take me from after I defeat Morty. I don't want to go any less--I want to make sure I have experiences under my belt.
Composure. You can't do a thing when you're nervous, so try to get yourself together. It won't do either of us good, you know? It'll just make things harder, and you shouldn't do that to yourself.
...Sleep. Lady, it's 4 am. Go to bed already! You're starting to ramble, and that's not good for anyone.

I dunno... rambling might be good for some. I know Burgh tends to do it while working on his art! But his art is weirdo.
no subject
The lady rambles better after she's had a good ten hours of sleep; otherwise, she just sounds like a raving old woman. The man you're talking about--I assume he sounds better with sleep too, right?

[There's a chuckle inbetween that word and what she says next.] People seem to have that ability, don't they? They wind up being unable to sleep at all for so many reasons...
I wouldn't blame you for getting a sleep move off to get a more versatile move on the Pokemon in question, though. It would be, but sometimes you need to make a choice between status-- [She puts one of her hands up like a scale.]
--and damage. [Her other hand goes up, moving up and down a bit to imitate putting weight on the scales.]
no subject
[Yes, you're a weirdo. But then Cecilia gives a nod!]
Well, if you're like Ana, you can use both! With a move like Flame Charge! So I don't need to decide!
no subject
[Weirdness makes the word go 'round--but wait, huh? Marcia tilts her head at the mention of that move. I am in Gen IV and what are you talking about]
Flame charge? I've never heard of that move--what does it do? [It's not one she'd personally try to encounter, considering that half of her team is weak to fire...]
no subject
So basically, have a Nuzlocking Rotom floating around you.]
no subject
Hi there, little guy. Did you lose your trainer? [A little friend pops up from behind her--a little Spinarak, who's lax enough not to simply pounce on the new Pokemon in front of her.]
no subject
No - there are no trainers, where I come from!
[Dear god he's speaking perfect English. Except his voice sounds a bit scratchy and glitchy.]
no subject
None? That's odd. [Marcia's brow quirks when he says that. Well, maybe he was from a place that hadn't been touched by researchers quite yet...which means--wait.]
So, you're a wild Pokemon then? What are you?
no subject
I'm Scarf the Rotom - the leader of an Exploration Team! [He's proud. But he's still looking over Marcia! Gosh, a human - did he look like this?]
no subject
[...Does that mean he's still wild, though?] Uh, hey, listen. The reason I wanted to ask was because I'm on a challenge--don't know if you're familiar with it or not... [...Now, what kind of Poke Ball should she use? Lure Ball, Great Ball, Poke Ball, Fast Ball...]
no subject
[? A Challenge?] I've heard of a few challenges, yes. What sort are you on? [Is it like his?]
no subject
[Either way, Marcia's look becomes a little more solemn.] I've heard it called Nuzlocke, but my place just calls it 'natural'. I've wanted to be a trainer for a while. See the world, get famous; you know, that kinda stuff.
--Point is, you're the first...well, encounter in this place. [Fast Ball pulled out.] I don't like doing this as much as the next person, but can I catch you?
[It feels so weird asking a Pokemon that, but...well, it'd be weird not to, at least to Marcia.]
no subject
How curious! It looks like a ball - like the thing which appears on my neck device when I've got an ally! [He has an Xtransiever below his scarf, with a Pokedex - old tech, you know?] What does it do? You mentioned capture, what is that--
[Whoops. And then he touched the Fast Ball.]
no subject
[...You certainly did! Congratulations; you've managed to cause it to open up and attempt sucking you in! A fast ball works in that it's normal Poke Ball when it's used against a Pokemon that could easily flee battle, or has a base speed of 100 or more.
...So, how is that base speed of yours, Scarf?]
no subject
But for rule of funny, let's have some luck on Marcia's side! You caught a Scarf! A Scarf-wearing Scarf!
Do you wish to nickname your Scarf?]
