My tutor wants me to be perfect. Or, as perfect as I can be anyway. I'm not all that smart, really, and he's a really harsh tutor.

I do oversee some training, when there's no paperwork to fill out. I think people learn better when you're not threatening to fire bullets at them constantly. And if you explain to them what they're doing wrong and show them how to do it the right, they'll remember it.

savour this rare sight, young Tsuna. This is Hibari (or, well, a Hibari) laughing-- yes, actually laughing (to be honest though, it's more like a quiet chuckling)
at you.

So, how does it feel to be the cause of one overly serious man's amusement?)

[The Hibari he knows never laughs. The first thought in this twenty-something year old's mind is that the man has snapped.]

You herbivores are always so amusing. (He's stopped laughing now, though there is a smirk on his lips that belies the seriousness of his tone. There's also the slightest flash of gleaming teeth in his smile, though his fangs aren't visible.)

[...Tsuna is even more weirded out by that smile, but rather than back away like he might have done when he was younger, he takes a step closer.]

Maybe we are, but... Did I-Pin hit your head too hard? You're acting strangely.

(Gosh, you should get a medal or something, Tsuna! He hasn't been this amused for centuries!)

And how would you know how I act? (You're not the one from his territory, the one that has the potential to change everything... and yet, at the same time, your scent is very similar. Hmm.)

[He stops suddenly, spidey senses instincts tingling. Oh god, no, no way... Horror and disbelief replace concern as he looks more closely at the man in front of him, and he whispers to himself:]

Vampire...?

[tonfad]

(One, two, three. Three slow claps as the human finally understands. Usually they were a lot quicker in catching on, and then the fun started. Oh well; the party don't start 'till he decides it does. :>)

Obviously. It took you a while to figure that out. (And now he smiles; it's not a nice smile at all, the sharp white fangs glistening in the dim light.)

[endolphins]

[Oh god oh god oh god SHOULD HE RUN OR SHOULD HE DRAW HIS GUN? Tsuna is frozen with indecision because this is his friend and yet he also isn't, and when a vampire smiles like that Tsuna knows that it doesn't mean anything good. He forces himself to move back, mind gearing towards fleeing.]

You're not Hibari. Hibari isn't...he's human.

(The fear and indecision and absolute shock pouring off of the human makes his grin stretch even wider, and he advances smoothly, compensating for the space (or lack thereof) between them.)

Whereas I haven't been one for eight centuries. (Run or fight, little human? It's all up to you. :>)

But I am Hibari Kyouya. (It's what he's taken as his name recently, anyway. All the better to mess around with the kid's brain!~)

Eight hundred years...

[His retreat speeds up, Tsuna belatedly remembering to check behind him and make sure he isn't being backed into a corner. Some lessons of Reborn's did stick (namely the ones about running away), and his hand hangs by his side near the holster of his gun.]

I don't want to kill you; so if you leave then I'll forget this ever happened.

[Eight hundred years? Tsuna knows it would take a stroke of luck to take down this vampire, Hibari or whoever he was. To his knowledge, vampires only grew in strength the longer they lived.]

Mm... Well... (Wait a minute, just let him consider something first.

... It's a Monday. He's got nothing going on. He's chock-free. He's got nothing. He's scotch... tape free - he's so dang clear of anything! 8D;;)

I believe you are on my territory, Sawada Tsunayoshi.

[endolphins]

[His face blanches and he hurriedly apologises.]

I'm sorry! Sorry... I didn't realise. [deep breaths, Tsuna]

I'll leave then. I apologise for intruding.

[And he bows deeply, extremely conscious about how he's effectively exposing his neck to the vampire, then begins to do just that: leave. Rather awkwardly too, because he can't seem to decide whether to avoid turning his back on Hibari.]
